The Documented Life Project

It seems 2014 got here before I realized it and now it’s half way through February! Oh my! Maybe it is true what they say, “time flies as you get older”. I’m starting to believe it!

I wanted to share a really cool project that 5 fabulous ladies started to document our time in 2014! I happened upon it at the first of January and jumped right in. It’s called The Documented Life Project.

I really love the idea! It’s part planner, part art journal, and part writing journal. Love that! Here’s some highlights of what I have done so far for the project.

I am really enjoying the process of documenting what is happening each week along with doing some fun art to get my “art fix” in. The pages above are the “tip in” or cover pages for each week. I will share some of my weekly inside pages soon. I’ve been sharing a lot on instagram lately so feel free to follow along there. My Instagram link is at the top and on the side.

It’s not too late to join and it’s free! The ladies at Art to the 5th give a prompt or challenge at the beginning of each week to get you going. There is also lots of inspiration in the Instagram, Flickr, and Facebook groups. So if you haven’t joined what are you waiting for?

A big shout out and thanks to Roben-Marie, Rae, Sandi, Lorraine, and Barbara (the ladies behind Art to the 5th) for starting such an inspiring, fun, and meaningful project!
