Doodle Days and a Winner

I have been continuing to doodle my days with Lisa at Mountain Mermaid Studios.  A big thanks to everyone that contributed their favorite doodle pens in the last post. One thing I know is you can never have too many doodling pens!

And now for the drum roll... imagine me doing a drum roll even though I can't play the drums...never mind that might be scary!

The winner of Lisa's Doodle Days Sep-Dec 2015 journal download is Debra Marrs! Yay Debra! (and that was an official drawing...which means me drawing numbers out of a bowl) Debra I will be emailing you to let you know how to get the download.

Thanks everyone for doodling your days with us! We love seeing your doodles! And if you would like to keep doodling, Lisa has a download available for the rest of 2015 that you check out here.

Keeping It Simple with Daily Doodles

I was very honored when Lisa from Mountain Mermaid Studios asked me to participate in her blog hop to share daily doodle inspiration from her Doodle Days of Summer Musings Adventure.

Doodle Days

Lisa has created a wonderful Daily Musings Journal to allow creatives to document their days in doodles. She also created a fun challenge to doodle our days in August. Here are some of my doodle days from the month.

I love to doodle and I have been having fun trying new doodles that represent a feeling or something that happened in my day. It has been a wonderful challenge to keep me doodling on a daily basis. Some days I took more time, others I just set aside 5 minutes to doodle. I think the most important part of this exercise is to just make some time for creative play.

You can still play along by checking out all the details here.

And to make things even more fun, Lisa is letting me GIVE AWAY a FREE COPY of September - December 2015 so you can download and keep doodling for the rest of 2015. Woo hoo! To enter for a chance to win just leave a comment below and tell me your favorite doodling pen. I will draw from the names in the comments and announce a winner here on August 27th.
